Aurora
Like an x-ray of a brain or a bunch of flowers these images leave you guessing.
They are actually photographs of alcohol combusting. The artist is Fabian Oefner. He created these photos by dropping a few bits of alcohol into a large glass container and as the fumes filled out the inside he ignited them to produce this quick flame sculpture.
