High Tech Cameras & A Van Damme
This is a trailer shot for the LA Times in 1993 and featuring some of the most up to date technology available to film makers at that time. It goes to show the effort and equipment used to create those panning or following shots much used in modern cinema. Note the first appearance of a radio controlled camera-copter, a small movie camera mounted under a radio controlled model helicopter. A sign of the technology to come. Also of note is the star, adding in the reality to each scene. Mr. Jean-Claud Van Damme.
