The Day Felix Fell From Space Update.
6th February 2016
Remember Felix Baumgartner, the Austrian skydiver, daredevil and BASE jumper who bested Jo Kittinger’s 1960 world record parachute jump of 19.5 miles by falling from a height of 24 miles, reaching a maximum velocity of Mach 1.25 [or 843.6 mph to you and me ]? Well Red Bull have just released new footage of the jump and it’s pretty awesome. Shot in HD using GoPro’s HERO 2 cameras so sit back and enjoy the full view of his fall from space.
In case you missed 2012 you can read about the Red Bull Stratos project here.
